Diving in Sharm

Paul N., myself and another buddy booked a standard weeks holiday through Thompson to Sharm in January staying at the Sonesta Beach resort- well its too bloody cold for Stoney Cove!

Before we left I pre-booked on the net. The first two days diving with Emperor Divers - picking up good discounts.

Only booked the two days so we could go with someone else if they proved to be rubbish and also so we could get a dive in on the first day. They proved to be excellent, very professional, very knowledgeable dive guides, great boats, and really well organised moving your kit around, so once you had registered and placed your gear on your first boat any boat changes they sorted, so you turned up the next day and your gear was stacked on the correct boat waiting for you. They picked us up right outside our hotel the first morning, sorted out the registration and we were bussed down to the boats. First days dives are kept local to check you out (middle and fiddle garden) from then on you request were you want to go and they move your gear around to whichever boat is doing the site - bliss!

We extended our booking for the full 5 days getting in at least 2 dives a day, Mainly diving in the Ras Mohammed area, Yolanda and Shark Reef make a good pair of dives ( Yolanda has the sanitary ware deposited from the Yolanda which has now slipped right down the reef.
