The Blue Hole

A very pleasant site if dived safely. A hole in the reef table approximately 50 metres across plunges downward to over 180 metres effectively bottomless for recreational divers. The greatest attraction of the Blue Hole lies on the rich sloping reef outside. A shallow lip over the reef table at 6 metres lead to the outer reef.

The reef slope is rich in hard corals, particularly the section to the south of the lagoon. Triggerfish, Jacks, Unicorns, Parrotfish, Angelfish, Grouper and Surgeonfish are all part of the variety of fish life on the outer reef.
